I’m a fashion designer and dedicated sewing instructor who loves Sewing To Styling.

I attended design school at The Art Institute of Seattle. After graduation I soon landed the opportunity to serve as an assistant designer at Nordstrom and soon after got promoted to lingerie designer. It opened my eyes to an entirely new world that I had only dreamed of as a little girl. I was fortunate to have had the chance to meet such an amazing team of people and travel the world. Years later, I got married and started a family of my own. My corporate life style wasn't what I desired for my new family life. Wanting to spend more time with my family, I made the decision to leave the corporate life and start my own business. A few months later I started my own brand and sewing school, and here we are today. Teaching and sharing my knowledge in Fashion Design & Sewing is what I love to do.
I truly feel blessed and grateful everyday. 

Over the last 25+ years, I’ve specialized in helping beginners feel at ease with their machines, fabrics, and patterns, focusing on clear steps, practical skills, and confidence-building. My approach is friendly, patient, and hands-on, because the best way to learn is by making something you’re excited to wear or use.
